These terms govern the use of the maisonhimi.com site and of the Maison Himi app. The terms of sale for orders are set out in the terms and conditions of sale.

2. What you accept by using the site

Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. The butcher may change them; the version that applies is the one online at the time of your visit.

3. Access to the service

The site is free to use, apart from the cost of your connection. The butcher does its best to keep it available, with no guarantee of continuity: maintenance, a breakdown or a problem at a provider may interrupt it.

Online ordering opens and closes according to the hours shown. It may be suspended at any time, in particular when the shop is busy or stock runs out.

4. Your commitments

• Give accurate information, in particular the phone number and e-mail used for collection.
• Do not attempt to reach the area reserved for staff.
• Do not disrupt the service: automated sending, scraping the content, attempted intrusion.
• Do not place a fake order.

In the event of a breach, access to the service may be refused.

5. Account and access codes

No account is needed to order: your details are asked for when you place the order. The shop area is reserved for the butcher and protected by a personal code. Each member of the team is responsible for their code and does not share it.

6. Site content

The photographs, texts, prices and descriptions are given as a guide and may change. Some of the photographs of cuts are produced by an artificial intelligence tool and illustrate the type of cut on offer. No photograph is a commitment as to the exact appearance of the product handed over: meat is a natural product and every cut is different.

7. Intellectual property

The brand, the logo, the photographs and the texts belong to the butcher or to their respective authors. The site and the app are developed by Kodex Production, which retains the copyright and grants the butcher a licence to use them. Any reproduction without authorisation is prohibited.

8. Links to other sites

The site links to Instagram, TikTok, Google Maps and Waze. The butcher has no control over those services and is not responsible for their content.

9. Liability

The butcher answers for direct damage caused by its own fault. It is not liable for indirect damage, for the consequences of inaccurate information given when ordering, or for unavailability caused by a third party.

10. Personal data and trackers

How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy. The site places no advertising cookie and tracks nobody.

11. Applicable law

Belgian law applies. In the event of a dispute, the tribunals of the judicial district of Brussels have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rules protecting consumers.
